Milestones in our history

Founded in Chile in 1992 and expanded to Spain in 1999, ARCHIPLAN is a global firm specializing in master planning and architecture. With an interdisciplinary team, it carries out projects of different scales, characterized by creativity, commitment to the environment and a sustainable approach. Its experience spans the Americas, Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia.

1992

Founding of ARCHIPLAN in Santiago de Chile by Ignacio Hernández Masses, Raimundo Onetto Torres and Jaime Hernández Masses.

1994

Las Tacas project, positioning ARCHIPLAN as a reference in Andalusian architecture for holiday resorts in Chile.

1998

Cantagua and Laguna Las Brisas de Santo Domingo projects consolidate ARCHIPLAN as a leader in second home developments.

1999

Expansion to Europe with the opening of the headquarters in Marbella, Spain, headed by Hugo Torrico Camacho, consolidating the international presence.

2001

Expansion into the United States with the opening of the Miami headquarters, strengthening the company's global impact.

2002

ARCHIPLAN adopts the ISO 9001:2015 standard, homologating its Quality Management System.

2007

Publication of the catalog highlighting second homes and urban planning projects, demonstrating the company's sustained growth.

2009

Implementation of BIM platforms after training in advanced Revit, marking a milestone in digitalization.

2012

Change of corporate image, reflecting a renewed vision.

2014

Opening of the Lima, Peru office.

2014

Development of mega-urban projects such as Piedra Roja and Cumbres de San Damián, consolidating its leadership in urban planning.

2016

Projects such as Borde Río, Gimnasio Balthus and Casino Monticello highlight its experience in gastronomy, sports and hotel facilities.

2018

Academic collaboration with UC's Sin Límites program to develop the Decalogue of Architecture for Mining.

2020

Ignacio Hernández assumes the presidency of the AOA.

2021

Wins the competition for the Las Salinas Urban Park, strengthening its role in public works.

2022

Rodrigo Navarrete joins as a partner and leads a project development workshop.

2023

ARCHIPLAN positions itself in the social housing sector by winning the Renca-Lo Espejo competition for modular timber houses.

2024

Pabla Ortúzar joins as a partner, managing industrialized projects, and is appointed Vice President of the CCI.

2024

Ana María Dávila becomes vice president of the AOA, strengthening ARCHIPLAN's presence in the association.
