Architecture and landscape: wooden shelter

Located in Las Brisas de Santo Domingo, the Chiringuito Restaurant reimagines the appearance of a shipwrecked vessel. Its design blends materiality, environment, and views to evoke the maritime spirit of the location.

The aged wood and ribbed concrete structure of the restaurant engages in a dialogue with the coastal landscape. Open and closed spaces create seamless transitions between the indoors and outdoors, providing shelter from the wind while maximizing the experience of the environment.

LANDSCAPE INTEGRATION

Perched over the lagoon, Chiringuito blends in with its surroundings through the use of natural materials and subtle volumetry.

Open terraces and protected access allow for a seamless transition between the coastal landscape and the restaurant's interior.

We turn ideas into extraordinary experiences for our clients

The Chiringuito restaurant project was an incredible experience for our team. From the beginning, we set out to create a space that was functional and reflected the essence of the Chilean coastal environment. We thought out every detail, from the choice of materials to the layout of the spaces, to provide a unique experience for visitors. As architects, what motivates us is seeing how design comes to life and becomes a place where people gather and enjoy good food.
