We design processes that improve the quality of life

WE ARE PROCESSES

We structure our processes using flexible models that combine multifactorial analysis, creativity and interdisciplinarity

We integrate design and development through six specialized workshops. While the design workshop creatively explores innovative concepts from hand-drawn sketches, the development workshops execute technical projects using BIM and specialize in areas such as mining or industrialized architecture. This synergy balances design, precision, and adaptability to each project.

Our methodologies integrate experience and innovation as the pillars of good design and high quality technical development

Concept design
Commissioning begins with a general project outline in close collaboration with the design workshop. This phase is preceded by a preliminary site capacity analysis.

Idea development
A Chief Project Architect is assigned to lead the collaborative development of the basic idea, coordinating design adjustments and functional or regulatory requirements with the client.

Stakeholder validation
The ARCHIPLAN Board of Directors and the client validate the proposal. Necessary adjustments are made to bring the project in line with quality standards and expectations.

Technical execution
The design dossier is prepared, permits are obtained, and coordination with specialists is initiated to ensure the legal and technical feasibility of the construction.

WHAT WE DO

Macro analysis

Study of the regional and urban context: demographic, economic and geographic dynamics affecting the project. For example: access to road networks, existing infrastructure and growth trends.

Micro analysis

Detailed evaluation of the specific site: topography, accessibility, immediate surroundings and physical constraints. Includes site capabilities and limitations to optimize its use.

Morphological analysis

Study the form and structure of the site: orientations, natural and man-made landmarks, and visual relationships. Defines how the project integrates and dialogues with its context.

Regulatory analysis

Review local regulations: zoning, maximum heights, percent openings, buildability coefficients, and environmental regulations. Ensures regulatory compliance and facilitates permitting.

Market analysis

Research demand, competition, and people trends. For example: residential or commercial preferences to adjust mixed-use or urban green space.

Creative-rational analysis

Synthesis of technical data and creativity: balance between functionality, innovation, and feasibility. Propose original solutions in line with the project’s objectives and context.

Design vision

Visual representation through plans and three-dimensional models that integrate previous analysis into a coherent proposal. Combines functionality, aesthetics and context to make the vision of the project tangible and harmonious.

We adapt the Double Diamond model to office processes, with three stages: analysis (first diamond), creative-rational (second diamond) and development (output stage)

Our processes begin with a macro-micro analysis and meetings with the client to define the vocation of the land (research). It continues with creative-rational design, master plan development (design) and products —drawings, memory— (development), ensuring alignment at each stage.

We have specialized processes for different products and challenges. They are people-centered and focused on a desirable future.

Masterplans

We start from a strategic analysis to arrive at a creative concept that facilitates a rigorous technical development, with integration of uses and a vision of sustainability, adaptability, urban coherence and alignment of partners through iterative methodologies.

Residential architecture

We apply structured methodologies (collaborative commissioning, managed development, stakeholder validation and technical execution) with contextual, technical and creative analysis. From macro-micro studies to three-dimensional models, we ensure consistency and feasibility at every stage of the project.

Industrialized architecture

We integrate early engineering constraints to enhance design creativity and transform limitations into innovation. With modular design premises, new technologies, manufacturing processes, and transportation dimensions, we parameterize designs to ensure their viability and feasibility, while enhancing their desirability and sustainability.

Mining architecture

With a commitment to R&D+i and BIM, we address industrialized designs for mining. From comprehensive assessment, permitting, implementation of safety and habitability improvements, and continuous monitoring, we seek to optimize productivity, sustainability, and welfare through methodologies adapted to complex mining environments.

Competitions

We have developed the methodology of roles of responsibility and autonomy to improve competitions processes, optimizing time and resources. With a collaborative structure that gives agency, we improve the quality of proposals and work processes, while creating an evaluation tool that enables continuous improvement.
