Milestones that define our history

ARCHIPLAN, founded in 1992 in Chile and expanded to Spain in 1999, is a global office specializing in master plans and architecture. With an interdisciplinary team, it undertakes projects of various scales, standing out for its creativity, commitment to the environment and sustainable approach. His experience spans the Americas, Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia.

1992

Foundation of ARCHIPLAN in Santiago de Chile by Ignacio Hernández Masses, Raimundo Onetto Torres and Jaime Hernández Masses.

1994

Las Tacas Project, positions ARCHIPLAN as a reference in Andalusian architecture for vacation resorts in Chile.

1998

Cantagua and Laguna Las Brisas de Santo Domingo projects consolidate ARCHIPLAN as a leader in second home developments.

1999

Expansion to Europe with the opening of a new office in Marbella, Spain, led by Hugo Torrico Camacho, consolidating its international presence.

2001

Expansion into the United States with the opening of the Miami headquarters, strengthening its global impact.

2002

ARCHIPLAN adopts the ISO 9001:2015 standard, homologating its quality management system.

2007

Publication of the catalog highlighting second home and urban planning projects, evidencing their sustained growth.

2009

Implements BIM platforms after training in advanced Revit, marking a milestone in digitization.

2012

Change of corporate image, reflecting a renewed vision.

2014

Opening of the office in Lima, Peru.

2014

Development of mega-urban developments such as Piedra Roja and Cumbres de San Damián, consolidating its leadership in urban planning.

2016

Projects such as Borde Río, Gimnasio Baltus and Casino Monticello highlight its experience in gastronomic, sports and hotel facilities.

2018

Academic collaboration with the UC's Sin Límites program to develop the Decalogue of Architecture for Mining.

2020

Ignacio Hernández assumes the presidency of the AOA.

2021

Wins the competition for the Las Salinas Urban Park, strengthening its role in public works.

2022

Rodrigo Navarrete joins as a partner, leading a project development workshop.

2023

ARCHIPLAN positions itself in social housing by winning the Renca - Lo Espejo prefabricated wooden housing competition.

2024

Pabla Ortúzar joins as a partner, leading industrialized projects, and is appointed vice-president of ITC.

2024

Ana María Dávila becomes vice-president of the AOA, reinforcing ARCHIPLAN's presence in the association.
